No More Cages for This Rescued Greyhound!
Bodhi the greyhound recently took his first-ever trip to the beach, where he dug in the sand and splashed in the surf—but his life wasn't always so blissful. Bodhi was one of approximately 200 greyhounds—most of whom were bred for and discarded by the racing industry—who were caged for up to 23 hours a day and bled every 10 to 14 days at a canine blood bank called Hemopet, which was exposed by PETA in October 2018.

So sweet! I wish all greyhounds could experience such a warm, loving home. No dog should be forced to race until s/he is then caged and his/her blood is taken.
I'm so thankful that PETA rescued Bodhi from an abusive life on the track. The video of Bodhi at the beach is so touching! Forcing dogs to race is cruel and immoral.
I L-O-V-E this photograph! I hope all of those greyhounds who were rescued from that vile operation get to stretch out, too.
So happy Bodhi has the loving home he's always deserved. No dog deserves to be caged constantly and used as a blood factory.
